I had the honor, recently, of painting two sweet Rapunzel dolls for a pair of sisters whose birthdays are just days apart. I think their mom did a great job of creating the cakes and setting the table, don't you? I'm thrilled she sent me pictures of the peg dolls in action! Thanks, Ariana, and great job!

Coral, Star, and Pearl are three of a series of seven kokeshi style mermaids I have recently painted. I am really loving this style of peg doll, especially the fun of choosing and adding hair accessories. On Etsy, I have written each mermaid a little back story. It has been a lot of fun imagining the lives these mermaids live!

This new series of itty bitty superhero cuties will be for sale on Etsy this week. Each cutie is only 1 1/2 inches high! I think they would look adorable as cupcake toppers for a themed birthday party.

Why should boy pirates have all the fun? These gals are a little feisty, a little sweet, and completely ready for adventure on the high seas.

One of my newest peg doll projects is this set with Snow White and her tiny little friends. Look at how wee they are! At just barely over an inch tall, they are the smallest pegs I've painted, and it was so much fun to try to add a touch of each dwarf's personality on such a small canvas. Mermaids

When I started painting pegs, these mermaids were the first peg dolls I painted that weren't for kids. They were actually just for me, because I love mermaids and wanted to have some fun painting hair in all kinds of colors, with glitter and pearls. I'm pleased as anything to discover that other people like them too, and I'm slowly adding them to my etsy shop.

Owls

I love owls, and my sister and I have been collecting them for a while now. Peg owls seemed like a perfect match for us, and I've actually painted a small army of owls, in lots of color combinations. Here are some more examples, including one I've turned into a keychain:

Wild Things

When my son was younger, I would cuddle up with him each night and read "Where the Wild Things Are" to him. He is my wild thing, and I painted these peg dolls in honor of the sweet and stormy relationship between mother and son.

These Scripture girls are no longer available - they have all gone to new homes. I am always painting new ones, though, and enjoy creating custom girls as well.

Princess

Each fairy tale princess includes special touches: glitter, gemstones, and/or pearls. The tall princesses are 3 1/2 inches tall, and would make a great special friend for the princess fan in your life. The tiny princesses are 2 inches tall.
 Each tiny princess is loaded with sparkle! I've been adding more to the collection over time, and you can convo me through my etsy store to request your own unique set of princesses.

Pirates

This set of 5 seaworthy pirates has been my bestselling set of peg dolls from the beginning. I hope that each set has been enjoying many adventures and close calls on the high seas!

Super Hero

The great thing about making toys, is I never lack for gifts for last minute birthday parties. The bad thing, is our gifts are almost never a suprise. :)

My favorite gift to bring to boys are these superhero peg dolls. Spiderman, in particular, seems to be a big hit!
